[Kimoto Glass Tokyo] The “Edokiriko and glasswork that color your life” Fair will be held until April 11th
2021.04.07
LIFEKIMOTO GLASS TOKYO will be holding the “Edokiriko and glasswork that color your life” fair at the Ginza Tsutaya Book Store until April 11th (Sunday). “Edokiriko,” the new product of KIMOTO GLASS TOKYO, will be available for presale at this fair.
These custom-made smoky glasswork products, which are compatible with a variety of table designs, have been specially crafted with modern cutting techniques called “Mermaid” and “Dots” by the traditional Edokiriko craftsman Kazutoshi Oba. These products have been designed to be user-friendly in addition to being easy to hold and wash.
In addition, the “Inner Red” series, which is a limited-edition series sold at Tsutaya Book Store branches in China, is also available in Japan for a limited time. The patterns crafted on the inside surface of the glass with the sandblasting* technique were inspired by the designs of Chinese scrolls and Japanese folding-screen art.
Add color to your everyday life with these glasswork products. You may even find your favorite table décor here.
*This technique involves blasting a sand-like abrasive using compressed air onto glass and other materials to create patterns and deep engravings.
