Featuring reproductiontenuguihand towels from Marukyu Shoten, a dyeing house based in Nihonbashi-Horidomecho, the parasol itself is made by Komiya Shoten, another Edo Tokyo Kirari Project model business. Thetenuguifabric is dyed using the traditionalchusentechnique, which dates back to the Meiji period, and incorporates vintage Ise stencils once used foryukata,carefully preserved at Marukyu Shoten. With its bamboo handle, rib tips, and coordinating label tab, the parasol achieves a natural harmony of materials. Its soft, sun-dappled colors and compact size make it ideal for daily use.

Founded in 1590, Ibasen is a historic maker ofsensu(folding fans) anduchiwa(round fans). Each Edo-Pattern Folding Fan is carefully crafted by seasoned artisans and features traditional motifs printed on cottontenuguior fabric. Patterns such as the goldfish andseigaihawave motif exude a cool, summery charm and pair beautifully withyukata. The wittyuobe(“fish radical”) pattern, featuring kanji incorporating the “fish” radical, adds a playful accent to any look. Each one is a chic, mature, must-have summer accessory.
