A long-established maker of Edokomonandyukata, Chikusen has translated its aesthetic sensibility beyond traditional attire into everyday life with the Sazanami Small (15 cm) plate by Chikusen no Utsuwa | Yukata Fabric & Glass. The plate’s rim expresses the gentle movement of ripples (sazanami) across the surface of water. Depending on the textile pattern, its translucency and sheen vary richly.
