[Miyamoto Unosuke] HIBIKUS – A Taiko School For the New Sounds of Spring

HIBIKUS, operated by Miyamoto Unosuke Shoten, is a taiko school for beginners and advanced drummers alike. They employ top-notch instructors and provide an excellent learning environment. HIBIKUS is a combination of the words “HIBIKU” (“echo”) and “US,” meaning “we.” To help people feel the unique sounds of taiko flow through them, experience Japanese culture, and keep their bodies and minds healthy is the company’s wish.

They hold their Lessons and workshops are across three locations in Yokohama, Asakusa, and Tenjin, Fukuoka. They have a beginner’s class where you can learn the basics, a parent-child class (for preschool children and their parents), and a stress-free “Yu Yu class” for seniors to play music, while stretching and maintaining correct posture. They offer a wide variety of classes. Children ages three years or older can participate. There is no age limit for adults.
