Since its establishment in 1861, Miyamoto Unosuke Shoten Co., Ltd., based in Tokyo’s Asakusa, has been consistent in the production of instruments and equipment related to traditional Japanese performing arts. Sales at a recently launched souvenir brand, unomisé, began at their Nishi-Asakusa store on June 6, 2024.

unomisé is Miyamoto Uosuke Shoten’s newest brand, created with the concept of “spreading Japanese tradition from Asakusa to the world” to convey Edo’s traditional pictorial riddle and Japan’s invaluable regional artisanal culture and create new encounters with artisans.
