Edo Tokyo Kirari Project:
Head Out on a Stamp Rally in Pursuit of Tradition and Taste
2025.01.30
LIFEFrom Friday, January 31 to Sunday, March 16, 2025, the Edo Tokyo Kirari Project presents the Tour Historical Locations in Tokyo with a Digital Stamp Rally. Organized in collaboration with the Edo-Tokyo BRAND Association—a group dedicated to preserving and passing on the cultural traditions of Edo-Tokyo—the event will showcase the appeal of Tokyo’s “treasures,” such as time-honored craftsmanship and products from long-established traditional stores.
Participating is simple. Start by accessing the digital map on your smartphone to discover historic stores and landmarks across Tokyo’s 23 cities, before setting out to visit them in person, collecting original stamps at every stop. As you explore, enjoy dining, shopping, and historical walks through four thrilling routes designed to immerse you in Edo’s charm. Participants who gather enough stamps will be eligible to enter a lottery for exclusive prizes from Edo’s most celebrated traditional stores.
