[Mokumeganeya] Get an original order-made engagement ring that shines with “Sakura Diamond” and our excellent traditional artisanship
2021.09.14
FASHIONWe are currently running a Sakura Diamond Fair. Until September 30, 2021
“Mokume Gane” is a Japanese metal crafting technique that involves layering precious metals of different colors on top of each other and elaborately cutting and forging them to create beautiful wood grain patterns. Mokumeganeya has inherited this traditional technique—which was developed 400 years ago in the Edo period to make elaborate sword guards for the Japanese katana—and used it in making jewelry such as engagement rings, wedding rings, and more, at our very own workshop in Omotesando, Tokyo.
During our current “Sakura Diamond Fair” that will run until September 30 (Thu), you will be able to order various original Mokumegane settings* and rings to go with your Sakura Diamond, in which the lovely “cherry blossom pattern” is embedded into using our proprietary diamond cutting technique. Please find your very own engagement ring with that unique glitter.
